Cat Has TOTAL TOOTH Loss!
My cat has lost ALL her teeth! She has trouble with hard food now and while I want to give her soft food, it is leading to major diarreah.
What should I do?

RE: Cat Has TOTAL TOOTH Loss!
I think you should consult a Vetenerian and visit one.

If your cat has been eating hard food for all her life changing her food well effect her intestine. You can't change the food drastically.

My Yorky is a puppy. He is 10 months old but has been getting sick very often. When he starts diarreha and vomitting that means he has to go to the Vet. These poor animal are indefense and depend totally on the owner. They can't talk but that doesn't mean they dont suffer. They can dehydrate and if we don't help them they can die.

Good Luck!

Thanks...I took her in and she had only ONE molar tooth left so the vet took it out as it was loose anyway.
He told me that cats don't chew their food but swallow it whole most of the time and he has no concerns. He also gave her some hard food for the intestines and the loose stools cleared up. So she is feeling great and the vet is pleased with here blood work and all the exams came back negative. Thanks for your concern.

You are welcome. These pets depende totaly on us. Just because they can't doesn't mean they don't suffer. I'm happy because because I could help in some way.
