1/16/2009 : Surgery Recovery
The vets did an amazing job removing all 8 of my kidney stones and deflating my bladder to normal size. Currently, I am at home with my mommy who was ecstatic to see me; and that feeling was mutual. She's still worried about me because I pee blood instead of urine, but Dr. Andrix said that was normal and part of my recovery process. I have to go back to the vet next Thursday so they can take out my stitches, and it should be smooth sailing after that. I kinda feel weird with all my stomach hair off, but its nice to feel the cool air for once, especially in this Florida weather! And I wanna say thanks to all my pup pals who prayed for me and wished me luck. Hopefully, I will have a speedy recovery.
