2/19/2009 : About myself...
Whats up guys this is Dakota...I am a weimeraner. My owners built me a really nice fence in the back yard so I can get lots of exercise while they are gone. I have an adopted big sister, Katie. She is some sort of a pit bull mix... but she is really nice. We barely fight. She is much older than me... she is around 12 and has lots of health problems. When she came to our home she had heart worms :-( but she was put on Heart Guard and now she doesn't have them anymore! Neither of us do- whew. She has taught me the beauty of sleeping and how it does a body good. However, she still has a lot of spunk and we play together well. She doesn't miss anything- she barks more than I do! We also have 2 cat companions. A Bengal, Kauai- and a Long Haired calico, Scrappy. Scrappy is somewhat timid but very nice. Kauai on the other hand, rules the roost around here... She has really sharp claws that she likes to reach out and poke me with when I'm not looking. So, no one can say that Dogs & Cats can't get along... we all get along terrific!
Mom got us some nice doggie coats from Old Navy this winter- boy are they nice! It can get cold outside for a doggie. We look forward to bed time the most though- I get to sleep in between Mom and Dad... so much fun.
