11/2/2009 : Leg of Lamb
Yeaterday mum and dad had roast lamb for dinner,I stayed in the kitchen by mum's side all the time she was serving it, did I get any.... not a scrap( they are so aware of my weight loss they dont give me any bit's like they used to). So today when mum was cutting the rest of the meat up where was I? her faithful hound at her feet of course always willing to help; did she acknowledge me in a word NO! This evening dad called me for my dinner, and very nice it was too, when I came back into the room, dad held out his hand and in it was THE LAMB BONE covered in meat for me, I was so excited I could only look at it for at least uummm 20 seconds, but dear friends I have to tell you all the meat surrounding the bone was gone in 5 minutes, then I thought I'd have a rest but a half eaten bone is not safe left.
When dad went to the bathroom he found my bone hidden behind the Loo, so he removed it and brought it back, so I have to find a new hiding place, so I have hidden it in mum's bedroom,I think they know but they dont know where.HAHA,,,

Lamb bones sound very yummy. I have not had one but now I do. :)

Hi Henry, Sounds like you had a special treat. I hope you find a great hiding place for your bone. I've never had a lamb bone. Every time my mom sees lamb at the store she cries. I guess I should just appreciate the beef and pork bones I get and hope mom doesn't go back to her vegetarian ways.

Henry you are now even with Meg at recently (past months) gotten a lamb bone. My lamb bone is being processed. Dad ordered a lamb from the neighbor last week. Hoping to have a chew if and when I'm finished with my shots. In the meanwhile I'll have to visualize the fun you will be having hiding the bone..don't let them give it to Megs dustman's dog (forgotten the name we think of the bone's second recipient.)

I wish I hide my bones or even my chewies cause they don't last with me to long and then there gone woof at ya lster...Titan

Henry! I like to hide my dog bones too! Mom and dad doesnot give me real bones like that! But I do get some meat cause Nate never eats all his food, so mom always gives me what he doesn't eat and she mixes it with my dog food! Some times when mom makes gravey she smothers that on my food and it is sooo good! Kisses Cinnamon I hope that they don't find your new hiding place!

Henry - a whole lamb bone to yourself?? Lucky.. I bet taht was worth not getting any of the meat. Mum cooked Roast Beef the other night, but as she wasn't giving me any, I decided to help myself.. I was busted though before I could do much more than leaving my teeth marks in it!! But I then got given it for breakfast;-) Careful you dont forget where you have put your bone pal, cos I know you have MANY hiding places@ home;-) Purrs TC
