Cinn. I like you just the way you are. Maybe a few less doggie treats would be better for your health. I put on a few pounds since I been here at my new home too. Nice way to say welcome.

My vet tells mom not to let me get heavy because of my hips and mom says us girls always have to watch our hips. Mom gives me carrots and apple slices when she thinks I've been having too many dog treats. I think the boys will find those bones and sneak them to you but be careful of eating too many.

Oh! Jarmy's right. Mom read somewhere the quantity of treats is more important to dogs than size. So, I think it's a lot cooler if Mom gives me 3 little bones (especially if not all at once) than 1 large bone.

Wow! Cinnamon you are lucky! I wish I had 4 people to play! Maybe diet dog food and a slight treat reduction would help. I've been on Science Diet Weight Maintainance since Mom got me 15 months ago. I wasn't seriously overweight but the vet didn't want me to gain another pound as it's bad for the hips, life span etc. The diet dog food has worked great for me. Another approach is to have the humans give you treats only when you do a trick like sit, stay, or down.

The dreaded "D" word. Diet. I agree with Cotton and Meg. Smaller treats and or nutricious treats. I like carrots. :)

I hope you can have maybe 1 or 2 bones a day - if they break them in half it will seem like more. You'll have to get out and run around with the boys too that'll burn up some weight. Best of luck, love n licks x

Hi Cin: Don't think it is fair that you have to suffer this way. Diet, humbug. Tell your mom there are light treats out there, maybe she could get you some of those. Also fruits and veggies are good for you. That is what mom usually gives me as a treat. Hey, I'm no lightweight either. The vet said I could be putting weight on 'cause of the meds I have to take. Sounds good. Good luck pal Cotton

Cinnamon, don't get any ideas about helping yourself to hooman counter food. Once you start it almost impossible to quit. Hopefully you diet will be responsible amounts of treats. did you know you could break the treats into tiny pieces and it still feel like you are getting excessive amounts only your stomach knows the difference. Oh no! the dreaded diet! Cinnamon I have just come off it. Its alright if they are just going to hide the bag of bones, you might just be able to sneak one now and then. But if it's the full blown diet, I'll have to send you food parcels, it's the only answer.nose licks your thin pal Henry xx
