11/2/2009 : ELK ENCOUNTER
I was out in the yard, at the back of our 10 acres, & I encountered a HERD of Elk. I know what Deer look like(I enjoy chasing them & barking til they jump the fence. Elk, on the other paw snorted and advanced in my direction, but Holy Moly...these guys were huge! There was 15 of em and I admit I ran to Mama.They bed down in the back of our property,nesting. I'm embarassed.
