11/6/2009 : My Mom's Busy Day

My mom dad a very busy day yesterday. She drove Roxy and Aussie to the vets and dropped them off. They were scheduled to be "fixed". She went to work. She picked them up at 4:30pm after the picked up teenagers from school. Dropped off tennagers for appointments and such. Aussie was a good boy at the vets. He went thru his operation very well. Roxy's operation went well also. Roxy just didn't like the feeling of coming out of anthesia.(spl?) Mom brought them home. Their kennel crates were all fresh with new blankets. Mom even bought them real big juicy bones to chew on while they had to be in their crates. They didn't chew on the bones. They rested and slept. My had to go back to work. The teenagers watched over them. When mom got home from work. They were both up getting some water and a bathroom break. Aussie was back in good spirits. Roxy was still not feeling like herself. She walked fine. She wasn't crying. She was like. "What did y'all just do to me?" She took a treat from Auntie but not my mom. Both of them did good during the night. Roxy is still not her usual self. She is laying down napping right now. If she lays on my mom's bed, she always sucks on the white fleece blanket. She takes it away from my mom. Mom was concerned when she didn't suck on the blanket. Mom calls it nursing. My mom thinks Roxy is mad at her because she took her to the vet visit. XOXOX Willie

Roxy is doing better. Alex, Roxy's mom stayed with her and Aussie today while mom was at work. Roxy had a good nights rest. Mom will have to buy new bonesfor Roxy and Aussie. Mulder and Patches discovered the bones unattended in the crates and took them. xoxox Willie

Hi Willie, I bet by now Roxy and Aussie are back to normal. When they "fixed" me it didn't bother me until the hair started growing back on my tummy, then it was itchy. You are a very good family reporter.

naughty Mulder and Patches pinching the bones whilst roxy and Aussie were to weak to look after them I bet they dont get th. nose licks xxe next ones, now they are starting to feel better

Hi Wee. Thank you for the nice up date on your family. I am sure with the special attention, Roxy and Aussie will be back to normal. Did you not get a bone for being such a good reporter? Mommy says when Zac and I got that stuff done to us, we are so short we could not wear the funnel (that thing to keep us from scratching) because the funnel would hit the ground and we would flip. the 2nd time of flipping, mom took it off. Good night and sleep tight. Bonnie.

When I was neutered, I was still a little "high" in the evening. The next morning Mom crated me and went to work. When she came home, she found I had somehow broken out of my crate and spent the day rollicking around the house with Mickey. Apparently, I didn't know I'd just had surgery!

WeeWee, I hope Roxy starts feeling better soon! and I'm glad Aussie is alright! I don't rember when I got fixed I was just a tiny kitten! And Cinnamon we are not sure when she got fixed! Mom says getting fixed is for the best interest of us pets! Because if Cinnamon or I would happen to have a litter mom would want to keep all of them! Because of all the crazies in this world today! What a busy Mom. Hope Roxy is soon back to par. We were at the vets last month and heard a blood curling scream from the back and the tech said the pup was not being hurt just coming out of anesthesia. You would have thought he was having a bad Star Trek style beaming experience coming back from somewhere else.
